Travel to Tignes
Tignes is quite remotely located in the Tarentaise valley, about an hour past Albertville. However, there are lots of options to get there that are quick and super easy.
Flying
Get on a flight from your local airport to Geneva airport (GVA) or Chambery (CMF). From here you can use a transfer company or the public bus – www.alpski-bus.com.
Train
You can get a train from St. Pancreases station in London all the way through to Bourg St. Maurice. From there, Tignes is only a 20km bus or taxi ride away.
Drive
If there’s a few of you, driving can be a good option. It is pretty straight forward and takes approximately 10 hours from Calais to Tignes. You can book either the ferry or channel tunnel to cross the English Channel from Dover, UK to Calais, France, or Dover, UK to Dunqurke, France (45minutes North of Calais).
